As discussed in the Present Scenario Water and Energy is a serious concern in everybody’s mind.

   To tackle the problem we propose:

Rain Water Harvesting

We would like to emphasis more on this resource.      

Rain water Harvesting:

                In every Monsoon season, from our roof huge amount of good quality of rainwater is getting drained down to the gutters.

                Approximately a place where annual rain fall is about 600 mm, a building of 1000 sq.ft drains about 51,000 liters good quality of rain water. Thus such a huge quantity of rainwater is getting contaminated and drains down in to the gutters. 

               Industrial sector has a very huge advantage of such systems due to presence of their huge Industrial sheds and buildings. This treated rainwater can satisfy their huge demand for process water. Also since this treated water has a very low Total dissolved solids as well as very Low Hardness, processing cost of this water before making use in the process plant, boiler feed water or cooling tower make up applications is gets reduced drastically.

              If we make arrangement to filter, collect and reuse this rainwater then this much huge quantity of good quality of rainwater is available to us for reuse.   

             This treated rainwater can be feed to the Bore wells to improve the yield from this bore well.   

 

Potential of this rainwater harvesting resources :

             Lets consider an example of Pune city (Maharashtra), one of the fast developing city of India .

             At present there are more than 50000 small and big housing complexes are existing. (We have not taken in to account various Government  buildings, Hospitals, schools, Industries etc...).
As an average, Roof Top or terrace available of each building is about 5000 Square Feet (i.e. about 465 sq.Mtrs ).  Out of these buildings, if only  5000  buildings  implement  such  rainwater   harvesting systems   then  Rain water  quantity  available  in  liters  in  one  monsoon  season   will   be   about 162,40,00,000 liters  which  anyway going waste.

              By implementing Rain water Harvesting systems this huge source of water can be brought back in to reuse.

Industrial Waste Water Conservation

              One of the major sectors where water conservation is implemented is Industrial sector. Now a day, Water is becoming a very important commodity in a balance sheet of any company. To give the direct cost saving of water, Hydro-Bio tech Systems provides complete know how by following activities.

 Water Audit 

               Water audit, is a structured study, logical follow-up and systematic diagnosis of: 
               Water consumption by various activities such as industrial production sections, domestic usage, fire fighting   and emergency utility services.
               Waste water generation by industrial and domestic operations. Potential   of reuse of the treated wastewater. Exploring the possibilities of compensating the current water source by alternate water source . Feasibility of various water conservation remedies. Industrial waste water treatment plants:

This contaminated   source of water after treatment  can be very well reused for many industrial activities such as gardening, fire fighting, toilet flushing, floor washing, product testing etc. where potable water usage is not necessary.
